What will you need to do?
Formal security requirements will be provided to you as part of the accreditation process. You will need to implement security measures suited to your kind of business.
These measures are designed to:
- limit unauthorised access to cargo during transport;
- ensure that cargo is only handled by AACAs and RACAs.
The security measures may include:
- Checking sender identity
- Checking cargo for tampering
- Controlling access to air cargo during transport
- Transferring cargo securely
- Completing security documentation
- Reporting suspicious activity
